L Taco opened its doors at 202 North Bend Way on Friday, April 2, 2010.
Featuring simple, highly tasty and affordable tacos, burritos and quesadillas, co-owner Jason Lakman says “I’m passionate about tacos and wanted to create something that would be fresh and delicious, while also being friendly to the pocketbook. I’m having a lot of fun with this new venture and have enjoyed getting to know the people who have started coming in.”
Small tacos are $3 each and large tacos are $5.
L Taco is owned by brothers Geoff and Jason Lakman. Jason Lakman, a North Bend resident, previously owned and operated Island Taco on Maui, Hawaii. A Washington State native, he wanted to bring his popular tacos to the Northwest when he recently returned to the area.
We’ll be back with a verdict on the tacos soon.
The ‘only’ reason I or my family/friends have not indulged is we hear the Salsa is “Pace” …is this true?
…. we always
If my son had his way we would tear out the kitchen and make it a music room, then just eat all our meals at L Taco. The shrimp is our favorite in all forms, fresh and nice quanity. Simple, reasonable and fresh. Thanks L Taco…Muy Bien
So I’ve had the tacos at L Taco a few times now and I think they’re pretty good!
Two good things about L Taco:
1) Open late until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Now when the NBBG closes the kitchen at 9 pm I have somewhere to grab a bite that isn’t fast food.
2) Fridays are $2 beers and $2 tacos.
